Aaliyah Hasna is a climate activist hailing from the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her goal is to ensure that youths have the rights and access to be involved in policymaking decision. Since 2017, she has been involved in numerous advocacy projects to empower Global South youths to participate in the policymaking process to make their voices heard. Currently she is based in Netherlands and pursuing a Masters Degree in Political Science, specialising in Global Environmental Governance.
Farhana specialises in research, with experience in both academic and industry research. Coupled with a background in Risk Management, Farhana offers expert knowledge in areas such as Risk Management, Capacity Building, and Climate Advocacy. Farhana provides a range of climate advocacy strategies informed by her experience as a climate advocate with national and international NGOs. She strongly believes that this earth is our home, and it is our amanah to take care of it. This has shaped bumii's identity and strategies.
